Cardinals are often associated with being messengers from our loved ones who have passed on, that they are safe and well on the other side. One of my favourite things I have experienced, painting birds over the years is hearing stories from collectors on what a certain bird means to them. They hold such deeply personal meaning for many people and are a reminder of special moments in their lives.
